The North American Reliability Corporation (NERC) maintains the reliability of the bulk electricity system in North America, in order to ensure a robust competitive marketplace for electricity and to protect the health, welfare, and safety of the public.
Beginning in June, 2007, NERC and its regional authorities (ERCOT, NPCC, WECC, etc.) will begin enforcing reliability standards for all entities involved in the planning, operation, and use of the bulk electric system in North America. With fines up to $1 million per violation, it is important to start tracking these standards and requirements as soon as possible - that’s why some of the largest companies in the world are looking to Enviance to manage NERC regulations. Complete NERC compliance tracking & reporting
