ENVIANCE REVOLUTIONIZES COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT WITH ONE-OF-A-KIND WEB-BASED APPLICATION

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Enviance, the premier online provider of environmental management applications, is revolutionizing the way Industry meets their environmental compliance responsibilities. With the release of the first enterprise-wide environmental health and safety (EHS) management system deployed over the Internet, Industry will realize previously unheard of efficiencies. By increasing productivity, improving data quality and integrity, and automating analyses and reporting capabilities, Enviance is transforming the manner in which environmental professionals manage their compliance practices.

According to The BTI Consulting Group, a nationally recognized research and management consulting firm (located in Boston, MA), environmental managers spend a full sixty-six percent of their time gathering, analyzing, storing and sharing information. "With the Enviance system, we anticipate being able to decrease the amount of time Industry spends managing data by nearly half," stated Larry Goldenhersh, President and CEO of Enviance. "The unique design of Enviance's environmental management system empowers our users to input data one time, and to easily use, reuse and share the data for compliance and performance evaluation purposes."

The Enviance system provides Industry with a powerful tool for both storing and processing environmental compliance data, and a communications device for tracking and improving environmental performance.

The Enviance system may be used to demonstrate and track compliance with both regulatory and internal requirements, such as emissions limits or operating procedures. User-defined data entry screens standardize data input and the Report Manager function allows the user to select compliance data for the development of custom and standard reports, such as Title V Annual Compliance Certification and Discharge Monitoring Reports.

The unique Task Manager function facilitates tracking of tasks' description, priority, due date, status and completion time. The Enviance system automatically generates messages when numeric compliance data exceed prescribed values and supports automated reminders for the timely completion of compliance activities.

Fully customizable, users organize compliance data in the manner that best reflects the company's regulated facilities. Centralized, Web-based data storage eliminates duplicative processes, increases quality control by regulating data collection, and supports data analyses and reporting in real-time. Added Goldenhersh, "Our system empowers companies of all sizes to acquire robust functionality for the improved management of their environmental compliance responsibilities. Users can readily access and manipulate data to evaluate ongoing environmental impacts of operations and improve performance, all within a secure environment."

Because the Enviance system is provided under the application service provider (ASP) model, it affords both large and small businesses the opportunity to improve their environmental performance by eliminating initial capital expenses and implementation and maintenance challenges of the traditional environmental information management system.
