1.) Applied Ergonomics Conference (AEC) – March 27-30, Orlando, FL
The Applied Ergonomics Conference (AEC) is supported by GOErgo, a division of the global non-profit organization Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE). The goal of this conference is to provide attendees from the ergonomics, safety, human factors and occupational health fields with ideas and solutions they can put to use immediately to start or improve upon their existing programs. 2.) American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Expo (AIHce) – June 4-7, Seattle, WA
Organized by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), AIHce is geared towards industrial hygiene and occupational health professionals. This three-day conference offers over 150 educational sessions where you’ll learn about case studies, controversial issues and exciting new research on a variety of topics. 3.) American Society of Safety Engineers (Safety 2017) – June 19-22, Denver, CO
ASSE’s “Safety 2017” is a professional development conference specifically for occupational, health and safety professionals. Safety 2017 offers 24 tracks, which are segmented into 4 different experience levels, so you can really target the sessions that will benefit you most. Check out the agenda here. Safety 2017 also offers up to 20 hours of continuing education units (CEU’s) for professionals who are required to maintain them.
4.) National Ergonomics Conference & Expo (NECE/ErgoExpo) – August 22-22, Las Vegas, NV
NECE is known for having a diverse exhibit floor, where you can view and demo some of the most innovative products and services on the market today. The conference also offers 2 full days of breakout sessions presented by top companies such as Wells Fargo, Johnson & Johnson and ExxonMobil. 5.) National Safety Council (NSC) Congress & Expo – September 25-27, Indianapolis, IN
The National Safety Council is a non-profit organization whose mission is to eliminate preventable deaths in and out of the workplace. The NSC Congress & Expo is an event for safety professionals that offers Learning Labs and Technical Sessions, as well as an exhibit hall where you can meet and talk with over 1,000 vendors.
