Work-related soft tissue injuries commonly plague the office, but when occupational medicine clinicians, certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, employees, and ergonomics professionals work together, they can help prevent and better manage these injuries. In this session, you’ll hear updated findings on using wearable bio-ergonomic assessments and clinical algorithms to identify hidden injury risk factors and ensure consistency and accuracy in data collection and analysis. Nick and Anthony will also share a case study from Southern California Edison about the design of individual and job-specific interventions based on bio-ergo assessments that accurate measure overuse injury risk.

After coordinating the rollout and full implementation of a global ergonomics program spanning 58 countries and encompassing 33,000 employees, Shari will discuss her every step of her experience, including what it took to institute a state-of-the-art ergonomics demonstration center, create an online training tool through a learning management system, and implement a master database for help ticket assignment. Shari will also review how she found and trained ergonomics consultants and coordinated vendor selection across the globe as well as how she integrated Enviance EHS software throughout the decision-making process.
